Students
from the GDSC team at Al-Shorouk Academy, in collaboration with the
Entrepreneurship Center at the institute, organized the
"Input-Output" Google I/O Extended conference. This annual event
aimed to extend the experience of the Google I/O conference to the developer
community in the Middle East and North Africa. The event provided local developers
with the opportunity to learn about the latest developments in Google
technologies and products, such as Android, Chrome, cloud computing, artificial
intelligence, and more.
The
event saw wide participation from technology companies and organizations, led
by CyberX, which delivered an insightful lecture on cybersecurity awareness.
The lecture discussed the impact of cybersecurity on individuals and
communities in the current era, emphasizing the importance of raising awareness
to protect individuals and institutions from increasing cyber threats.
Representatives
from CyberX highlighted the vital role of cybersecurity in maintaining the
confidentiality of sensitive data and information, and how training and
awareness can help mitigate cyber risks. Additionally, CyberX offered training
opportunities for participating students through the HubX platform, enabling
them to acquire practical cybersecurity skills and enhance their future career
prospects.
