Organizing a Field Visit for School Students to Raise Awareness of the University and Academic Environment 4/12/2023

The Community Service and Environmental Development Unit at the Higher Institute of Engineering participated in raising awareness about the university and academic environment, as well as engineering in all its specialties, among school students. This was achieved by organizing a field visit for students from Magdy Yacoub Experimental Language School and Martyr Ibrahim El-Rifai Experimental Language School to the Higher Institute of Engineering in Al-Shorouk. A seminar was held on future opportunities after secondary school, the nature of studying engineering, and job fields for each specialty. Faculty members attended the seminar. Afterward, students visited the labs and workshops, where they received explanations from faculty members about various experiments. The students conducted some experiments in certain labs, and at the end of the visit, the institute honored outstanding students to encourage them and boost their morale.
