CAD-Based BIM Affordable Solutions for Steel Design/Drafting and Concrete Shop Drawing

El-Shorouk Academy hosted Dr. Ihab Mohamed El-Aghouri, Assistant Professor in the Structural Engineering Department at Ain Shams University and Executive Director of Egix (an Egyptian engineering software company). He gave a lecture titled “CAD-Based BIM Affordable Solutions for Steel Design/Drafting and Concrete Shop Drawing,” showcasing modern methods in Building Information Modeling (BIM) and improving structural design and drafting processes using Egix’s software. This marks the beginning of a fruitful collaboration between Egix and El-Shorouk Academy in technological and training fields, aiming to enhance the skills of Civil Engineering students, keep them updated with industry advancements, and promote Egyptian products adhering to local design and execution standards.
