The Architecture Department at the Higher Institute of Engineering - Akhbar El-Shorouk Academy is honored to have participated in the international competition for the redevelopment and reconstruction of the Port of Beirut following the tragic explosion in August 2020

The competition was integrated into the architectural design curriculum for third-year students for the academic year 2021-2022, under the supervision of Dr. Sami Serageldin and coordinated by Dr. Maha Fawzy, with direct oversight from Dr. Amr El-Gohary and his team, including Engineer Rasha Abdel Hadi.

We congratulate our students on achieving 19th place in the Urban Design category of the competition.
