The activities
of the Sixth Employment Forum for the Academic Year 2023-2024 of the Higher
Institute of Engineering at Shorouk Academy were held on Wednesday, April 24,
2024, where the Department of Communications and Computer Engineering
participated with its two programs (Electronics and Communications Engineering
Program - Computer and Control Engineering Program) in the forum with the
attendance of a distinguished group of third-year and fourth-year students and
faculty members and the assistant staff for both programs.
The activities
of the forum began with welcoming words from the Chairman of the Board of
Directors of Shorouk Academy, Major General Dr. Ahmed Abdel Rahim, and the Vice
Chairman of the Board of Directors, Professor Dr. Gouda Ghanem, and the Dean of
the Higher Institute of Engineering at the Academy, Professor Dr. Moataz
Talaba, and the Head of the Community Service and Environmental Development
Unit, Professor Dr. Manal Yahya. Their Excellencies congratulated all the
programs of the Higher Institute of Engineering at the Academy on the occasion
of the renewal of accreditation from the National Authority for Quality
Assurance and Accreditation of Education.
Among the most
important activities of the forum was the speech of Dr. Mohamed Ibrahim,
Director of Space Products Marketing at the Egyptian Space Agency, during which
he provided many directions and advice to students to prepare and equip
themselves for the labor market after graduation. He also spoke about the
agency's role in supporting students and graduates from the Communications and
Computer Engineering specializations by training them and supervising some
graduation projects in the field of space and satellite engineering and
appointing the distinguished ones among them to the agency after their
graduation. At the end of the forum's activities, the Chairman of the Board of
Directors honored the guests from the heads and representatives of the bodies
and companies participating in the activities of the annual employment forum of
the Higher Institute of Engineering at Shorouk Academy.
