Third-year Communications Engineering students have created and implemented many valuable project ideas using FPGA. One of the most important and best ideas available this year is the smart farm under the supervision of Assistant Professor Dr. Fatima Al-Foly. Its goal is to design a smart farm system using VHDL language. The system includes sensors to monitor environmental conditions and automate certain procedures. The soil moisture sensor will be used to measure the moisture level in the soil, while the temperature sensor will measure the temperature. If the temperature reaches a certain limit, a water pump and a fan will automatically turn on to regulate the environment. This project aims to improve the efficiency of agricultural operations by saving water and energy and ensuring better control of the farm environment. Therefore, with bouquets of roses, the Department of Electronics and Communications Engineering extends its sincere congratulations and blessings to the following students: Karim Wael Farag and Abdullah Osama Fathy, in appreciation of their efforts and wonderful ideas.
